Chaos on the final day of the Premier League!
Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle have secured their spots in next season’s Champions League. Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest narrowly missed out after defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea, respectively.
It was a big day at Anfield as Liverpool officially lifted their 20th top-flight title. The stadium was rocking as club legend Alan Hansen presented the trophy. The squad linked arms with the fans for an emotional version of You'll Never Walk Alone. A tearful Trent Alexander-Arnold came off the bench to say goodbye before his expected move to Real Madrid.
Elsewhere, Manchester United managed a 2-0 win over 10-man Aston Villa, but the atmosphere at Old Trafford was far from celebratory. United ended the season in a shocking 15th place — their worst-ever Premier League finish. Manager Ruben Amorim took the mic to apologize to fans and called for unity going forward:
"This season is in the past. We either fight each other or stick together and move forward."
Plenty of highs and lows — a Premier League finale to remember.
